Poker Saint TDS Policy
The TDS (Tax Deducted at Source) policy of the PokerSaint app is as follows:
- TDS is applicable only on winnings, not on deposits.
- 30% TDS is applicable on net winnings in a financial year.
- No TDS is applicable on withdrawals up to ₹15,000 in a financial year.
- TDS is applicable on the difference between the withdrawal amount and the total deposits in a financial year if the withdrawal amount is more than ₹15,000.
For example, if a player deposits ₹10,000 in a financial year and wins ₹20,000, then the net winnings are ₹10,000. There will be no TDS applicable on the first ₹15,000 of withdrawal, but 30% TDS will be applicable on the remaining ₹5,000.
